Reports and Briefs
Conservation without data is merely an intention; with data, it becomes a strategy. We present our summary of the Annual Technical Report , where we analyze the biological variables that affect nesting in the Gulf of Guinea.
This year, our team of biologists has implemented real-time biometric tagging and measurement systems. This data allows us to understand not only how many turtles reach our shores, but also their overall health and migratory routes.
Key findings of the report:
Site fidelity: We have identified females that return to the same beach after traveling thousands of kilometers, confirming Bioko as a vital sanctuary.
Temperature and Hatching: We monitor the sand temperature to ensure that climate change does not affect the ratio of males to females in hatchings.
Ecosystem Health: The constant presence of Leatherback turtles indicates that our waters maintain a biodiversity that we must continue to protect at all costs.

Transparency and science are the pillars of our foundation.
